We regret to inform you that Squirrel Flower’s performance has been cancelled. Here’s a statement from the artist:

I very sadly have made the decision to cancel my upcoming UK/EU dates due to the uncertainty around Covid and touring right now. I love playing in the UK and Europe more than anything, and I promise I will be back soon when it feels safe and right.”

Growing up in a family of hard-working musicians fostered a love of music and started Ella O’Connor Williams down her own musical path. She sang with the Boston Children’s Chorus while studying music theory and teaching herself to play the guitar. As a teen, she discovered the Boston DIY and folk music scenes and began writing, recording, and performing her own songs under the moniker Squirrel Flower.

Her heart-rending sophomore album Planet (i), following her 2020 debut I Was Born Swimming, is exactly that: A singular planet, a world entirely of the artist’s making. Buoyed by her steadfast vision and propelled by her burning comet of a voice, the record is a love letter to disaster in every form imaginable. These 12 songs are instruments for connection, a connection it would be hard to reject given their warmth and emotional depth.
