The setup of Montreal-based Corridor is as timeless as their sound: rock’n’roll borrowing from each of the past six decades, punk and pop, psych and jangle, daydream and swoon. This is music that’s muscular, exciting and full of love. Corridor is the first Francophone act ever signed on Sub Pop, one of the oldest and most respected indie labels in North America. For their debut on the label, Junior, they went for something bold, spectacular, hypnotic and distilled. Before it was even out, the album had already gotten the attention of major music media thanks to the singles “Topographe”, “Domino” and “Pow”. “Part of the beauty of the thing is that we didn’t have time to think about it,” they explain.
