Covid-related measures

Our latest information on the virus and its impact on Rotondes and its events

Due to the current epidemic, Rotondes is doing everything possible to ensure that its events take place in a safe environment. Here are the measures in force at Rotondes.

To follow the evolution of the situation, we kindly ask you to check our website regularly and to carefully read the safety measures that we have put into place. They are regularly updated and displayed at our events.

The measures below will be applied for all events organised outside the CovidCheck system.
Events organised following the CovidCheck system will be clearly marked as such on all communication formats (poster, website, tickets, etc.) and special signage will be displayed at the entrance to the event.

Safety measures in place at Rotondes
(indoors and outdoors)

  • Compulsory face mask for anyone over 6 years old
  • Social distancing (at least 2 meters)
  • Precautionary measures (wash your hands, cough in your elbow, etc.)
  • Specific signage

Performing arts

  • Compulsory face mask for anyone over 6 years old
  • Limited capacity (in compliance with government measures)
  • Respect of social distancing rules between people or groups of people of the same household (at least 2 meters)
  • No standing during the show
  • As little moving around as possible in the audience
  • No drinks, no food

Exhibitions

  • Compulsory face mask for anyone over 6 years old
  • Limited capacity (in compliance with government measures)
  • Respect of social distancing rules between people or groups of people of the same household (at least 2 meters)
  • Markings and/​or signage indicating the path of the tour
  • No drinks, no food

Labos

  • Limited capacity (in compliance with government measures)
  • Assigned seats for each participant, 2 meters apart
  • Compulsory face mask for anyone over 6 years old for the entire duration of the workshops 
  • There will be as little moving around as possible.
  • No drinks, no food
  • Should specific guidelines be applicable, they will be sent to participants prior to the workshop.

Lectures and other events

  • Compulsory face mask for anyone over 6 years old
  • Limited capacity (in compliance with government measures)
  • Respect of social distancing rules between people or groups of people of the same household (at least 2 meters)
  • As little moving around as possible in the audience
  • No drinks, no food

Concerts

  • Compulsory face mask for anyone over 6 years old when standing 
  • Limited capacity (in compliance with government measures)
  • Respect of social distancing rules between people or groups of people of the same household (at least 2 meters)
  • As little moving around as possible in the audience
  • No drinks, no food


At all our events, we kindly ask the visitors to follow the seating plan and our staff’s recommendations. Please use the hydro-alcoholic hand sanitiser made available to you at the doors. 

Specific signage will be put up for special events.

On the Buvette’s terrace and inside the bar

  • Compulsory face mask for anyone over 6 years old when standing (to get drinks at the bar, to go sit at a table, to go to the bathrooms, etc.)
  • Drinks and food consumption while sitting at a table, no standing position
  • Respect of social distancing rules
  • Outside on the terrace: Maximum 10 people per table (or more if they’re part of the same household)
  • Inside: Maximum 4 people per table (or more if they’re part of the same household)
  • Distance of 1.5 meters between tables

In addition, we would like to point out that:

  • Contactless payments with debit/​credit cards are strongly encouraged.
  • For health and safety reasons, some of our services cannot be provided. This is the case of the cloakrooms, which will remain closed until further notice.
  • Common areas are regularly disinfected, with special attention given to bathrooms, door handles, etc.

Rotondes reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who does not respect the health and safety measures listed above.
