The Luxembourg Street Photography Festival is hosting a series of conferences, including one with Giacomo Sini. The Italian award-winning freelance photojournalist/journalist has visited some 50 countries to photograph their social and political realities. Passionate about the Middle East and Central Asia, Sini has photographed conflicts in Syria, Lebanon and Kurdistan. He is mostly interested in refugees’ stories from conflict and post conflict areas. In recent years he has also documented migrations in Italy, shooting experiences of solidarity between migrants and local people.
