Die Nerven are a German-speaking Post-Punk/Noise-Rock 3‑piece with a penchant for gloom and nihilism. Founded as a noisy LoFi duo in 2010 in Esslingen near Stuttgart — South Germany — these young guys released several singles, EPs and download albums before their first physical full-length Fluidum was put out by This Charming Man Records. 2014 saw the release of the follow-up album Fun which is — according to Jan Wigger from Spiegel Online — „one of the best and most relevant German-speaking albums of this decade“. The album was featured in almost every best of 2014 list in Germany.
Their latest effort, OUT, came out in October 2015. It brought forth a band that bears slight resemblances of Mission Of Burma, Wipers, Bauhaus, Swans, Abwärts, Sonic Youth, Fehlfarben, Helmet and Mudhoney.
Founded in 2013 on the remains of local Punk outfit The Fitness by Andy Kalté (guitars) and Bob Seyler (drums), Delmar was later joined by Luc Caregari (formerly Traumkapitän — bass). With their new bassist, the band’s evolution quickly took new directions — developing longer instrumental songs, which contain psychedelic aspects and more pop structures. Recently Delmar has been recording a demo at Rockhalstudio and plan to add electronic elements and vocals (of any kind) to their music, as well as trying out the adventure of playing live shows.
