Emre Sevindik, born in 1973 in Luxembourg, studied audiovisual communications in the Netherlands. Having been involved with creations for theatre and other stage performances, today he mostly works on musical compositions for dance, theatre and film. By cutting and pasting original samples taken from various far-flung sound sources and from his own playing, he invents a world of weird and soothing electro-acoustic shapes. In his latest album, Monsters Like Us, Emre has invited various musicians in order to expand his sonic realm. Sun Glitters is the glitchy, summer obsessed, sun-drenched electronic project of Luxembourg musician Victor Ferreira. Debuting in 2011 with the acclaimed full-length, Everything Could Be Fine and a seemingly endless string of EPs, self-released tracks and remixes, Sun Glitters has quickly left a mark on the electronic music scene, touring clubs and playing festivals throughout Europe and receiving glowing coverage from Dazed & Confused, BBC, Resident Advisor, Earmilk, XLR8R, Pitchfork, The Guardian and a bevy of trend setting music outlets. Sun Glitters combines an ocean of lush melodies, pitch-shifted vocal samples, digi-diva choirs, warm bass pulses, and ambient soundscapes into a blisteringly beautiful sound.
