Film Everything depends on you

To celebrate the beginning of the Week of Microinsurance and its 10 year anniversary, the Microinsurance Network invites you to the screening of a Bollywood educational movie on microinsurance and the advantages of insurance in rural communities in India. The screening will be accompanied by a presentation from the film’s producer, Indian food and music. Filmed in the traditional Bollywood style, the film, Sab Tujhse Hai (“Everything depends on you”), set in a rural village in India, follows the story of how villagers overcome the many difficulties they face. Beyond the various stories of individual villagers, the film introduces microinsurance from a pedagogic point of view, highlighting the benefits insurance can have on low-income communities. The projection will be followed by a talk with Véronique Faber (Microinsurance Network, Luxembourg) and Ralf Radermacher (Microinsurance Academy, India).
