LAUREL HALO is a recording artist from Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States. Taking influence from her Midwest roots, HALO has developed a unique take on electronic music; loosely defined as experimental, her music has touched on a variety of styles, combining hardware pulse, ambience and intricate sampling to address themes of physical process and virtual violence. In a live context HALO’s music is centered around hybrid rhythms, sub bass and psychedelic push. Her debut album ​“Quarantine” was released on Hyperdub to critical acclaim in 2012, receiving such accolades as #10 Album of the Year in The Washington Post, and the #1 Album of the Year in The Wire Magazine. DJ SENSU has for years been one of the voices of the electronic music underground in Belgium. He originally started out as an experimental ambient DJ, but quickly refocused his ambitions, adding club music to his palette. He’s now based in Luxembourg. P.I.A. — PLASTIC IN ACTION is the moniker of Yves Stephany, best known for his electrifying DJ Sets, blending Uk Funky, Garage and House. In his new live set he explores the circle of birth, life and death through the dubby spheres of techno. Using his bass guitar, toy instruments and cheap synths, P.I.A. creates hypnotising loops that unite man and machine in a deep, dense sea of groove and rhythm.
