Film Oddsac

Premiering in January of last year at the Sundance Film Festival, ODDSAC is as you might expect, a super-experimental film by and with ANIMAL COLLECTIVE shot collaboratively with Danny Perez. Do you really want to know what it is about? The band describes it as their «visual album», so expect wild scenery, fluo colors, unconventional images of deformity and a heavy dose of psychedelia. Japanese horror flicks from the 70’s (think ​“Hausu” by Nobuhiku Obayashi) and the band’s music and frustration are the main influences in this 50-minute trip. One you’ll surprisingly have no trouble digesting and that will leave you mildly enchanted.
