Sauti Sol is one of the most popular and promising music groups in Kenya (recent winners of Best Band Chat Award). Fusion between African sound and urban pop, their music is the voice of a new East African attitude to the world, ambassador of their generation. The group tries to get rid of the stereotypical Kenyan sound based on the famous Benga music, and to break with clichés linked to African tradition.
