STUBBORN HEART is a British electronic soul music duo consisting of Luca Santucci and Ben Fitzgerald. They released their self titled debut album on One Little Indian last November and received “Album of the Month” from both Rough Trade and Mixmag as well as receiving “Album of the Year” at Giles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards earlier this year.
Despite performing live only since the start of last November, STUBBORN HEART have already notched up several key European festival appearances including Eurosonic, the Midi Winter Festival and Le Guess Who.
A steadily growing word-of-mouth hit – their London & Manchester shows in January were sell outs – STUBBORN HEART’s effortless future electronic soul has struck a note with fans and critics alike, drawing comparison with artists like Talk Talk, The XX, Radiohead and SBTRKT.
With singles from the album penned for release in July and another for September / October, STUBBORN HEART continue to turn heads and the rest of 2013 and beyond looks set to be a very bright one for the duo.
