The culmination of the Books & Beats project, The Sound of a Story, The Story of a Sound is a collaborative project that brings together participants from both the Books and the Beats events. The aim is to either create a soundtrack inspired by one or more written stories, or to craft a story sparked by the sounds. At the end of the season, the final works will be presented in a public showcase.

The programme

  • 09:30 – 11:00 Club escritura en español (also available in English)
    Un espacio abierto a todos donde escribimos, compartimos ideas y exploramos nuevas formas de expresarnos – no se necesita experiencia, solo papel y lápiz !
  • 11:30 – 13:00 Club de lectura en español (also available in English)
    Club de lectura en español dedicado al género del cuento. Aquí lo leemos, lo discutimos, lo comentamos, y siempre lo acompañamos con café.
  • 14:00 – 15:30 Writing Club (también disponible en español)
    A community of writers and creatives who gather to write, share ideas, and support each other’s creative process – no experience needed, just pen and paper.
  • 16:00 – 17:30 Reading Club (también disponible en español)
    A community of readers who come together to explore, discuss, and enjoy short stories – all with a good cup of coffee.

The Studio Sessions is an electronic music and synth meet-up, an opportunity for electronic musicians to connect, exchange ideas, discuss gear, share techniques, and collaborate through spontaneous jam sessions – cultivating both creativity and community.

About the Books & Beats project

A community and a safe space for :

  • Developing creative expression through prompts, stories, music, performances
  • Exploring specific themes (e.g. identity, love, etc.) across literature and electronic music
  • Supporting each other’s artistic growth and promoting original creation
  • Connecting people across borders and fostering international artistic exchange

    MA in literature. Experience : teaching and leading creative writing workshops
  • Fred – Luxembourgish (EN/FR/DE/LU)
    MA in marketing (specialty : music). Experience : cultural event organizer and leading workshops in collaboration with Rocklab
  • Paula – Argentinian (ES/EN/FR/PT)
    Food Engineer & EMBA, Transformational Coach. Experience : leading creative writing workshops
