Tom Perkins is a writer, designer, food photographer and traveller. He undertook an unassisted bicycle journey from London to Cape Town across 3 continents, 26 countries. The goal: to explore the length of the world on a hungry stomach. The method: improvisation. Place full faith in the goodness of strangers and the wonderful beauty of serendipity. The result: a mad, kaleidoscopic adventure of epic proportion.
