1. Call for entries

The call for entries for the 6^th edition of Triennale Jeune Création is open from Tuesday 30 September to Sunday 30 November 2025.

It is addressed to early-career artists who have not yet had a major exhibition and who have a connection with Luxembourg or the Greater Region (nationality, birth, place of residence and/​or work). There are no age or academic qualification requirements.
All artistic disciplines within the field of visual arts are eligible. The Triennale is also open to practices such as performance, design, graphics, illustration, architecture, cinema, publishing, etc.

An artist may submit several projects.
Projects may be existing works or new productions.

Applications must be submitted online using the form available at roton​des​.lu/​t​r​i​e​nnale and must include:

• the artist’s full contact details;
• their connection to Luxembourg and the Greater Region;
• their artistic background, including a link to download their portfolio in PDF format (CV, artistic approach, portfolio);
• their project for the Triennale, including a link to download a presentation file in PDF format (plans, sketches, models, photos, etc.).

Any application that is incomplete, does not meet the requirements or is submitted after the deadline of Sunday 30 November 2025 will not be considered.
Participation is free of charge.

2. Selection process

Projects will be selected by the exhibition curators on the basis if the submitted applications.

3. Announcement of selected projects

The official selection will be communicated to applicants in mid-December 2025.

4. Production of the exhibition

The exhibition will take place at Rotondes in Luxembourg City.

The organiser reserves the right to make the final choice of works, their number, distribution, and placement in the exhibition spaces, based on the chosen scenography. This choice cannot be contested by the artist.

For existing projects – which must be recent or unpublished and never exhibited in a similar event – an exhibition fee of €300 will be paid to each selected artist. Costs related to the exhibition (e.g. for adapting the work) may be reimbursed up to a maximum of €500.

New projects may be produced in agreement with the organiser. In this case, the artist fee is €650, and a provisional budget must be provided by the artist at the time of application. A maximum of €1,000 per project may be reimbursed for production costs.

All works must be originals by the artist.
The artist retains the copyright to their work and recovers the work after the exhibition.
In the event of a work being sold, production costs will be reimbursed to the organiser.

5. Communication

By participating, each artist implicitly grants the right to reproduce their work(s) in whole or in part for the purposes of promoting and/​or documenting their work and the Triennale (websites, catalogue, social media, press…).

6. Mediation

The organiser will implement mediation activities to promote the artists and their work to the public.

7. Timetable

Tue 30.09.25: launch of the call for applications
Sun 30.11.25: deadline for the submission of applications
Mid-December: announcement of the selected artists
Mon 01.06.26: start of installation
Fri 26.06.26: opening
Sat 27.06 – Sun 30.08.26: exhibition
