With the release of their latest album ​“Magic Chairs” on the British cult label 4AD, the Danish quartet EFTERKLANG have streamlined their sound, moving away from their former exuberant orchestrations toward a more direct, song oriented approach. However, this does not mean that they have stripped down their famous live gigs : Performing as an octet on stage and incorporating diverse instruments such as the trombone, violin and saxophone, EFTERKLANG manage to bring their trademark lush arrangements to life.
