Concert / Electro Iglooghost + hiele

T M I is the name of a weekly radio show on Radio ARA (102.9) and of a talented DJ and tastemaker. His shows and sets blur the lines between electronic and conceptual music. Iglooghost is a UK-based, teenage, electronic producer of hyperspeed booms, fizzes, squeezes and stretches. As the newest signee to Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label, he recently released his dizzying ​‘Chinese Nü Yr’ EP to much acclaim and contorted facial reactions. Iglooghost is also responsible for a large amount of the visual accompaniments to his music, which tell the unfolding story of a levitating gummy worm named Xiangjiao who suffers the peculiar, unexplained fate of perpetually flying through infinite, peach-coloured portals. He is currently writing his debut full length for Brainfeeder. Roman Hiele born 1991, is a composer and performer of electronic music. Hiele’s music surfaces in the form of hard to pin point electronica, build on a long time obsession for synthetic sound creation and jazz studies. On stage Hiele plays with expectation, going past what is considered conventional, blending improvisational and classical elements into a no-nonsense personal idiom. Hiele has released his music on the Antwerp based label Ekster (Hiele 2013, Essential Oils 2014). In 2016 YYAA Recordings released Hiele’s performance in the Schinkel Pavilion, Berlin 2014. Recently (May 2016) Hiele has released ​“Ritmische Bezinning”, his third album on Ekster. Roman Hiele has collaborated in the realms of fashion, documentary film, theatre and art productions. Wupp are Der Alte Jäger and Hirsto. No party is as live as when these two DJ, playing the best of house, breakbeats, leftfield and disco.
