LAS BUENAS NOCHES is a band from Spain, formed in 2006 by a group of friends sharing a common interest in root music from many folk traditions, ranging from rural blues, to African and Latin American rhythms, Spanish copla and folk, klezmer or Asian soundscapes. Inspired by popular poetry and storytelling, they weave a sound of their own for topics that sway between poetic narration and musical landscapes.
At the present they are engaged in recording their 3rd album, to be released this spring. Their previous albums, “Aventuras Domésticas” (2008) and “Un Mal Día (lo Tiene Cualquiera)” (2011) can be listened to and aquired freely on their website. All their work is produced and released independently, through Copyleft free licensing, in accordance with their interest in free culture.
