Former composer, as well as bass, guitar and keyboard player of Luxembourg-based rock band Metro, David André recently joined the energetic indie rock group Miaow Miaow. He now launches his solo project LOUD WAS THE SEA. Rooted in electronica, abstract hiphop, and more generally speaking in film music, LOUD WAS THE SEA yet defies easy categorization. It is strongly based on instrumental music and emphasizes on atmospheric vibes. Heavy, dense atmospheres are sublimated by floating melodies ; themes are built up to a luminously intense climax. Profoundly poetic, Loud Was The Sea is composed of immersive soundscapes that sparkle the imagination. A first ep titled Autist wedding is scheduled for this fall.
