Warm low-pitched vocal samples and rousing percussions are Napoleon Gold’s favourite tools when producing his ambient electronic tracks. Performed live they give off even more intensity and character thanks to a mix of electronic sounds, guitars, piano, percussion, and subtle improvisations.

Storyteller of the mundane, Metz-based Josy Basar creates minimalist electronic music made of catchy rhythms and heady melodies. With community centres and shopping areas as their sources, his melancholy, candid tracks are reminiscent of French chanson as much as of lo-fi synth-pop.
