Two former railway roundhouses beside Luxembourg’s station may seem like an unlikely setting for a cultural venue, but that sense of the unexpected is rather the point. Rotondes presents work across the performing arts, contemporary music, and visual arts, alongside talks, participatory projects, and workshops for all ages, including schools.

As a public institution, Rotondes is driven by a belief in culture as a space for experimentation, a way of understanding the world, and a force for changing it. With this in mind, cultural exploration sits at the heart of the programme: platforming emerging artists, supporting innovative new practices, fostering artistic creation, and collaborating with partners from a wide range of sectors. The aim, always, is to connect disciplines and keep ideas in motion.
