What if the spaces we share reflected the diversity of the people who occupy them?
More than just an exhibition, the 2026 Triennale, Common Ground, curated and staged by La Concierge, is a call to rethink the collective ground beneath us… it’s a safe space that celebrates difference and where inclusivity is the foundation.
Inspired by the global spirit of underground nightlife culture, where the dance floor becomes a place of unity, free from societal divisions, this project asks: Where are the cultural spaces in Luxembourg and the Greater Region that truly reflect the multiculturalism and diversity of our communities?
With 20 emerging artists from the region, selected through an open call, this initiative supports not only new artistic voices and fair labour practices, but also critical reflection.
Common Ground cultivates a diverse and inclusive space where nightlife and visual arts merge to break norms, overcome divisions and encourage dialogue, because art isn’t just meant to be seen and heard. Art should be felt and experienced, it should challenge, inspire and, above all, transform us.
So the same question remains: Where is the so often talked-about, but rarely lived diversity in our cultural landscape? Where safety, inclusivity and respect shouldn’t be privileges, but rights…ask yourself: Where do you belong? Or rather, where do you feel excluded?
Join the conversation, the ground is yours!
