A chair, a hanging lamp, a light-switch cord, a speaker playing tango, a glass of water, a candle. Everything in its place. Under a single light source, the scene is stripped back to almost nothing, as spare as a black-and-white film.
Into this carefully ordered world steps an equally meticulous character for whom nothing quite stays where it should. The light flicks off for a moment. He juggles the ball the darkness has handed him, unaware that it is about to take it back. Gradually, reality grows more and more absurd as rhythms, shadows, and lights conspire to deceive the audience’s eyes. An utterly disorienting, brilliant solo juggling act.
