When classical music meets club culture, when brass instruments merge with electronic beats, when an orchestra claims Rotondes, there’s only one name for that: Fanfare Remix!
For the very first time, the Fanfare Municipale Luxembourg-Bonnevoie is taking over the Grande Salle at Rotondes for an unprecedented concert – electrifying and firmly rooted in the contemporary music scene.
The programme traces the history of electronic music through some of its most iconic tracks. From the hypnotic soundscapes of Massive Attack and the futuristic grooves of Daft Punk to the cold-wave rhythms of New Order and the soaring melodies of Avicii, electronic classics are reimagined for a full-scale brass band, creating a sound that is both powerful and richly organic.
This special project marks a new chapter in the relationship between the Bouneweger Musek and Rotondes, brought together by a shared purpose: to bring the neighbourhood together through the power of music.
Bridging popular heritage and underground culture, neighbourhood traditions and late-night energy, this concert is set to blur the boundaries and transform the Grande Salle into a dancefloor!
