Concert / Pop Architecture in helsinki

Four years on from their last album, ARCHITECTURE IN HELSINKI return with the hook-laden, magnetic and lush Moment Bends”. It sounds like the album they’ve waited their whole lives to make, retaining the fizzing immediacy of its three predecessors and re-moulding with a more sophisticated touch.
In large parts,“Moment Bends” is in dialogue with the dance floor, without being a slave to any particular rhythm. So, imagine a sound floating somewhere between Italia 82, California 79, and Melbourne 2011, glued together with a dynamic bounce and a compelling romanticism.
With its effortless mix of the ambiguous and the familiar, not to mention it’s 11 killer songs, Moment Bends” might just be your new favourite record.
Moment Bends” will be released on 11th of April on V2 / Cooperative Music. RUSSIAN FUTURIST: Under this very intriguing moniker hides a Canadian guy, Matthew Adam Hart who has made quite a bit of impression since he emerged on the indie circuit in 2000 with an album called The Method Of Modern Love”. After accolades from the press, he cut two more albums of lo-fi beauty alone in his Ontario bedroom before moving to the Big Apple for the making of his 2010 LP, The Weight’s On The Wheels”.
