Konstantin Gropper lays his baby-Cave vocals over a musical hybrid of Jonathan Fire*Eater/Beirut-like proportions. It’s stirring stuff, especially when Gropper spits out the line “It’s tragic you don’t feel my pity” as the sonic spell sounds like it might be shattered at any moment. A thrilling kiss-off.
