Nathan Fake was born and brought up in Norfolk, England. He has been playing and writing music since he was a young teenager.Nathan’s first record “Outhouse” was released in late 2003 on James Holden’s label Border Community.
Young Master Fake has built quite a reputation for himself as one of the few Brits that the cutting edge European techno scene really cares about, with a solid string of dancefloor releases and a decidedly rocking laptop live show. But it was his psychedelic epic “The Sky Was Pink” that really hinted at where he might be headed on his March 2006 debut album “Drowning in a Sea of Love”. Unleashing the unlikely rock beast within, Fake has turned in a truly enchanting collection of rocktronica at its finest – all casio keyboard riffs, soaring fake guitar lead lines, single live take recordings and plenty of lighters-in-the-air moments.
Nathan plays live sets on his laptop, He is not a DJ, never has been and probably never will be.
