It’s no secret: we produce abnormal amounts of wasted material every day, including a large part originating from temporary decors. But how do you create a new space with a modern look and playful touches in an ethical and sustainable way? According to the Pimp Pong collective, it’s easy: by reusing our waste!
Pimp Pong (from “to pimp up” in the sense of improving and “pong” in reference to ping-pong, game and movement) has opened a new path for event design: that of recycling and upcycling.
The POP-UPCYCLING is a market with stalls of second-hand clothes as well as objects and furniture that have been revived and given a second life. The pop-up will also include interventions about how our planet is saturated with waste, and workshops on the sustainable economy.
