The brainchild of multi instrumentalist and producer Demian Castellanos, THE OSCILLIATION has risen out of the ashes of the critically acclaimed Orichalc Phase (two 12” only releases for DC Recordings in 2006).Having already worked with such luminaries as producer Tim Holmes from Death In Vegas, as well as a new forthcoming project with a member of Chrome Hoof, Castellanos’ position amongst the cream of the UK’s music fraternity will seem inevitable to anyone who hears THE OSCILLIATION. If you’re into 70-ies krautrock or shoegazing in a new jacket … THE OSCILLIATION is your answer. HIGAMOS HOGAMOS was formed by Steve Webster (formerly of ​‘Fort lauderdale’ and ​‘The Black Neon’) in 2008 with a view to make open minded musical mayhem incorporating rock n roll, electronic experimentation, Kosmische, psychedelia and a chance to collaborate with musician friends. The incendiary guitar playing of Toby Jenkins (Fort Lauderdale/​Squire of Somerton) featuring heavily on the much lauded debut, released by DC Recordings in Summer 2009. 2009 has been a more than fertile year for Sebastien Laas former solo project CYCLORAMA. By integrating Pit Reyland on the drums, and eventually metro-bassist Yves Stephany, the cyclorama sound gained a lot in terms of maturity and punch. For one of the first time ever, Cyclorama will present their latest album as a three-piece. Expect a loud fuzzy shoegaze-rock ambience soaked with beautifully reverberated melodies, that never fail to shimmer across the dense and trippy walls of sound.
